With AI tools, getting a prototype running is easy. Going to production needs more: solid authentication, each customer's data kept separate, privacy, monitoring, deployment. Produtype reads a repository and tells you what is missing, in order of priority.
The score depends on what the product is meant to be. A B2B SaaS is held to tenant isolation and audit trails; a static site is not, and is not marked down for missing them.
The analysis is deterministic: no AI model decides what the code is worth. Every finding points to a file and a line, and the report also says how thoroughly each language was analysed.
The engine, ProdKit, is open source and runs on the command line. Produtype is the hosted service on top of it: repository import, scans, reports and a remediation backlog.
